Installing the Software

To install the software, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Start your computer and wait until all system relevant operations are complete.
If your computer is already started...... please just close all programs before you start installation.

  1. Logon to the MS Windows system (Optional).

  2. Insert the product installation USB-Stick into the USB-Port of your computer. If Auto-run is enabled on your system, the installation starts automatically and you can skip steps 3 and 4.

  3. From the Start menu, select Run.

  4. Type D:\setup (substitute the appropriate letter of your USB-Stick drive for D).

  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Where is the software installed?By default, the software product is installed in C:\Program Files\LabCognition\ProductName.

.NET runtime environmentThe software is a .NET application and needs a special runtime environment to work properly.During installation of the software, the runtime environment will be automatically installed on your operating system. This step is only required once.

Currently Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 is mandatory for running the software!

If the desired version of the runtime environment is not available on the installation CD, please download directly from the Microsoft homepage:

You will be redirected by the setup automatically.
