USB-Dongle Protection Device Update
Congratulations! You have either purchased a product license update from your software vendor or your USB-Dongle protection device requires a general hardware update to work properly with your software.
The update information provided by the vendor needs to be transferred to your USB-Dongle before the new license becomes effective and you can access the new functionality in your software. In addition or alternatively, it might be necessary to upgrade your USB-dongle hardware configuration, e.g. to support 64bit versions of the software. This manual describes how to update the license information, the hardware configuration or both on your USB-Dongle.
The USB-dongle update is dedicated to be run only once. In case it has been installed successfully, it cannot be run again! If you do so, an error message is shown indicating, that the update is invalid or incompatible with your USB-dongle.
The USB-Dongle update is dedicated to be run with a single USB-Dongle connected to your computer. Please temporarily disconnect additional USB-Dongles before you start the update tool.Any other other devices connected through USB, like mouse, keyboard, external hard discs, etc. can of course stay connected while running the update!
