Sample Spectrum Measurement

Data collection is performed according to the parameter settings in the Instrument Tab.
To begin sample measurement, click the Measure-Button on the Instrument Tab. Acquisition is completed automatically and the collected spectrum is displayed on the workspace immediately.

Regular Measurement

Performing regular measurements with the TIDAS instrument is described in the following steps:

  1. Insert a sample.

  2. Setup the measurement parameters.

  3. Click the **Measure-**button in the Instrument Tab or select the command Measure Spectrum in the TIDAS Instrument Menu.

After completion of the measurement, the spectrum will be displayed in the 2D-View area. Depending on the measurement parameter setup the spectrum may also be automatically saved to a designated project.

Kinetic Measurement

Performing kinetic measurements is very similar to the regular procedure. A kinetic measurement consists of a sequence of 2D measurements acquired with a particular delay time between the measurements. Collected data is saved in individual 2D spectra. The operator simply has to adjust the additional acquisition parameters Measurements and Interval:

  1. Insert a sample.

  2. Setup the basic measurement parameters.

  3. Enter an Interval time which is considered as pause between two measurements (see below).

  4. Click the **Measure-**button in the Instrument Tab or select the command Measure Spectrum in the TIDAS Instrument Menu.

The measured spectra will be displayed as individual, overlaid 2D-spectra in the 2D-view area. Depending on the measurement parameter setup the spectra may also be automatically saved to a designated project.
