Thank you for your purchase of the J&M spectrometer.

For convenience and enhanced operability the system is designed to run on an MS Windows platform providing an intuitive, graphical user interface. As a result the operator can feel comfortable in a wide variety of applications ranging from routine analysis to state-of-the-art research work.

The spectrometer unit is combined with the J&M Spectralys Spectroscopy software package.

For trouble-free and efficient use of the spectrometer be sure to study this manual thoroughly. You are therefore advised to read the following chapters.
