Instrument Menu

The Instrument menu holds various commands to control and drive ABB's MB3000/3600 or FTLA/FTPA spectrometers. It provides commands to access the instrument tab and instrument controls.

Instrument menu contents

The Instrument menu provides the following commands:

• Acquisition
  Opens the instrument tab to start a new measurement.

• Validate
  Opens the instrument tab to start an instrument validation.

• Advanced Diagnostics
  Shows advanced diagnostic information for the instrument.

• Update Firmware
  Start the firmware update process.

• Configure
  Calls the instrument service applet.
